We are pleased to announce that we have finally found a suitable venue for our July BIG BRAAI.

All fellow SAFFAS are more than welcome and bring your family and friends along.

You are free to bring along your home-made goodies to sell (bring a table if you need one)

There will be some picinic tables and a bouncy castle . SA items will be available to buy: Wors, biltong, droewors, sweeties, cooldrinks and biscuits, among others.

Overnight camping will also be available for quiet guests.

WE WILL PROVIDE:
* An open wood fire and grids
* Charcoal
* Plastic Utensils and paper plates
* 2 large salads (for those that didnt bring any)

(A donation bucket will do the rounds to help with the cost of these items)

O’Brien is ʼn oudstudent van prof. Jacques du Plessis, ʼn voormalige dosent in Afrikaans aan die Universiteit van Wisconsin en UCLA, wat hom beywer vir die navorsing en ontwikkeling

100,000 Whites flee anti-white South Africa as over ten times more Africans arrive from Africa, DESPITE “xenophobia”

An estimated total of 95,158 whites have left South Africa since 2011, according to a new Statistics SA report released on Thursday.

According to the 2015 mid-year population estimates, in the same period 1,067,937 Africans and 40,929 Asians migrated to South Africa.

The figures took into account total departures and total arrivals over the period.

Statistician-general Pali Lehohla, speaking at the release of the 2015 mid-year population estimates in Pretoria, suggested that while Stats SA had not done any migration studies, it could be assumed the estimates were influenced by employment opportunities.

“It can be assumed and working from theory, migrants tend to go where there is employment and looking at the age structure of Gauteng, you can conclude reasonably well it’s because of the supposed job opportunities that are there, that migrants are coming in,” he said.

And so they travel around South Africa in a dwaal,  unaware that when you told them to turn left at the robot you meant traffic light. The Cape has a long history which sets it apart from South Africa. It is the traditional homeland for Khoi-San bushman people, the Cape Coloureds and Malays, the Afrikaner Dutch and Germans, as well as Huguenots from France and Settlers from Britain etc, etc.

Ever since the arrival of the Europeans in 1652 it has grown and developed into a unique nation with its own language (Afrikaans), vibrant cultures and traditions and even gave birth to a new ethnic identity, the “coloured or brown people”. It also has a robust economy, the proceeds of which all go to the centrist ANC regime in Johannesburg with very little coming back because the Cape is not in the power of the communist ANC.
