Wine label raises R1 million to combat rhino poaching

Rhino Tears wines has raised R1 million since the launch of a drive in 2014 to raise funds to be used in the war against rhino poaching in South Africa.

The money that has been raised thus far has been handed to SANParks Honorary Rangers who are using the funds for anti-poaching projects in SANParks.

For every R55 bottle of wine sold, R15 goes directly to the SANParks Honorary Rangers who are using the funding to train tracker dogs and to purchase equipment for field rangers such as rifle slings, camping equipment, backpacks and various other essential items for use by the rangers.
